Short
Axe is a spoof on the popular saw franchise. When a man named Kyle awakes to the terrible face of the Saw doll he is forced to do an unspeakable thing, watch Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, ten times in a row.
Music Video
An endearing tale of two lifelong friends. As is the case with every set of friends, they come upon a few rough patches. The two main characters show that any true friend will be able to endure even the hardest of times.
Short
This film is about our current society's universal and objective conception of beauty. It follows the daily and exhausting rituals of an anorexic girl. Bombarded by the demands of a consumer society, she soon realizes her desire to conform has turned her into a sight more frightening then her fear of rejection. Sometimes when people drift so far from reality, it requires an element of fantasy, bad or good, to bring them closer to sanity. In America, many cannot escape the boundaries of mainstream media--a medium that offers little diversity and perspective of beauty. The central character in the film loses touch of her subjective rights as she is imprisoned by the unattainable demands society enforces upon itself and its impact on individualism.
International
A father and his two young daughters journey into the harsh Australian desert. The two girls are along for the ride as the father attempts to escape the pain of the departure of his wife and the subsequent dissipation of his marriage. His daughters, too naive in their young age to grasp the situation, blame him for everything. The situation goes from bad to worse as the car unexpectedly blows a tire. Stranded in the middle of the desert with no cellphone signal and no person for miles, emotions run high as the father tries desperately to remedy the situation.
Short
A story of the dynamics between an older and younger brother and the lessons to be learned.
Short
Do you ever feel invisible? Sometimes all you need is someone who cares.
Experimental
In a beautiful and meditative experimental film, the viewer is plunged into the silver sea of the psyche. It is a psychosexual descent into the authentic self, as the filmmaker seeks the origins of behavior and of transformation.A visual poem, Cataract speaks in multiple and overlapping ways. As the filmmaker directly grapples with the milky blindness of the visual cataract, the film itself cascades into metaphor and myth. It points to feminine mythology and sexuality, to water as a resource on a changing planet, and to human, spiritual and personal evolution. Cataract sensuously dips its filmic toes into the synesthetic undertows of the unknown.
Short
When Matt's morning coffee turns into a chance encounter and a mid-day romp with the sultry and seductive Selena, he thinks he has met the girl of his dreams and his luck may be on the upswing. But when Selena reveals that she is actually a messenger of death sent to take him to the other side, Matt finds that love at first sight has become a fatal attraction.
Experimental
Sometimes adolescence feels like being stuck in a crazy game show with ever-changing rules. Created by a group from TvbyGIRLS, this experimental short takes a humorous and poignant look at the confusion of this volatile time in every girl's life. Kirsten, an everygirl character, feels the lonely isolation of being the new girl at school. She finds herself called into a wild game show and presented with impossible tasks.
